Edge Sander has swing away spindle dust shrouds, removable stop and extended table, to allow edge sanding of unlimited lengths of material being worked. Reposition the thrust stop, swing the dust shrouds back into place and have a full 6” x 38” of flat, vertical belt sanding area.

Dust collection is maintained through the 4 inch diameter port on the drive end of the machine, all the while drawing dust laden air from behind the entire length and ends of the belt.

Shop space being at a premium, the base of the sander has three hand-held power tool drawers, on premium soft close European drawer glides.  Keeps the power tools out of the way in one dust free, easy to reach place.

The largest of the drawers houses the French dovetail jig, with its preset routers instantly ready to cut the needed dovetails. Just relocate it to the bench top for connection to the shop’s remote-controlled particulate evacuation system and begin dovetailing. No laborious set up necessary and completely out of the way until needed.

The sander has swing open spindle covers on each end and a removable stock stop if needed to sand unlimited length stock. Replace the stop and have a 43 inch free space 6 inches high of sanding surface available.  Or swing the end belt covers away and sand curved things from minimum 3 inch diameter on one end and 6 inches on the other.  The belts that come with it may also be used to sharpen mower blades and the like.
